The Ariel Atom is a simple, lightweight, fun and fast sport car distilled down to its basic function. Now Ariel have taken that design philosophy and took a big left turn and went right off road, and the result is the Ariel Nomad.
Built on the same design and attention to detail it is clear the Nomad is an Ariel, which means that driving experiences will be the same grin on your face! The Nomad opens up a whole new dimension to having fun on four wheels. Where the Atom is to road and track, the Nomad is to road and off it.
Centre of the Nomad is, of course, it’s structure. Bronze welded by craftsmen who care about what they do and have pride in their work. Outboard, long travel suspension, double unequal wishbones, high rotation metallastic bushes, aluminium quick steering rack; this is half competition, half road car. Everything for a reason, nothing extra.
Rotationally moulded polyethylene bodywork on the front back, sides and mudguards. With composite covers in a range of colours and carbon fibre as an option for bonnet and engine cover.
The heart of the Nomad is a 2.4L i-VTEC Honda engine (K24), producing 235 hp and 300 Nm of torque and with a weight of just 670 kg, it will rocket you from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds (yes that is super-car territory) and a top speed of 200 km/h
With a range of factory options you can customize your Nomad for exactly what you want.
The Nomad is what is needed and nothing more. It is all about the driving, on and off the road
