Occipital labels its Structure Sensor as the first 3D sensor for mobile devices. When linked with an app it can act as a 3D scanner which allows scanning, mapping and virtual reality gaming. Although the sensor has been design for iOS devices, it can still be adopted to work with a range of other devices including Android, Windows and laptop or PC.
There are a range of app available for the sensor however Occipital has allow users access to the Structure SDK which means developers have a straight forward way to create incredible applications.
