There are thousands of portable bluetooth speakers currently on the market. So how do you choose one if you’re looking to buy?
The Creative Sound Blaster Roar is one of the hightest-rated and most feature-rich bluetooth speaker we’ve seen to date.
PC Mag: 4/5.
Engadget: 8.3/10 (editor) and 9.5/10 (customers).
What makes the Roar so unique in our view, are three particular features.
Firstly, the audio quality is reported to be excellent both indoors and outdoors. The Roar analyses sounds played through it, and adjusts bass and treble levels automatically to ensure the highest volume possible without damaging the speakers. If there is a loud section in a song, the bass is reduced to a safe level and adjusted upwards again during softer sections to yield an overall rich audio experience.
The second feature is the ability to add an SD card to the device. Not only can you play media from this card, but you can also record phone calls made when using the device as a speakerphone.
Lastly, you can plug your device into the speaker for charging.
